With the breeze of early summer, we ushered in the traditional festival - Dragon Boat Festival.
The Dragon Boat Festival is a folk festival that combines worshipping gods and ancestors, praying for blessings and warding off evil spirits, celebrating entertainment and eating. Legend has it that Qu Yuan, a poet of the Chu State in the Warring States Period, faced the danger of the country and expressed strong patriotic feelings. He finally threw himself into the Miluo River on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Later generations also regarded the Dragon Boat Festival as a festival to commemorate Qu Yuan.
